[ She's actually turned her camera on this time, talking to it, sitting on her backpack in the grass right inside Violet City. The only unusual thing is that she's got a hoard around her. About 10 Pokémon are either sitting, rolling, or flying about, clearly visible. Every once in a while there's a noise loudly coming from one calling out. ]

Good morning, everyone. I have a question for you all, sort of like a survey.

[ She pauses to grab her bouncing Hoppip and hold it in her lap, a look of frustration clearly on her face. ]

How do you feel about carrying your creatures in their Pokéballs? I'm having a little difficulty, admittedly, handling all of them running around like this.

[ Turn the video on? Don't be absurd. It's no ones business what she's doing or witnessing the loving way she's stroking her new Hoppip in her lap as it quietly sleeps while making soft noises... ]

I've made it through to Cherrygrove City now, though it's a small victory in the grand scheme of things if this map proves to be correct. I finally checked all the contents of my bag and everything seemed in order. No curses or hexes hidden anywhere.

I also read that little book on breeding that was given to me. It's too early to start work with this, so I've taken to amassing as many...Pokémon...as possible before beginning. This morning I came upon a Corsola and it seems fitting that I try to capture all Pokemon in the area to get a wide breeding range. I'll be staying here until it's mine. [ She stock-piled Poké balls from what money she had. ]

I understand that there's a difference between reading a book on this kind of thing and gaining experience through hands-on practice. If you could give me any tips, they would be much appreciated.

Also on how to defeat Pokémon in battle. My main obstacle with the Corsola I mentioned.

[ The red-head has an extremely displeased expression on her face, but too bad you can't see it. Audio will suffice for everyone. No use getting more familiar than need be, after all. An audible irked tone will be heard by anyone who cares to listen to her. ]

While I'm certain this isn't Kamigusk, or anywhere near the academy, I'm lost as to where exactly I am. I apologize for this ignorance, and can assure you I'll get my bearings once acclimated to the area. A map would be nice, if one can be supplied to me. I refuse to trust any objects in this backpack until it's proven not to be cursed or rigged. Not to mention I have no mother, so this farce that is going on is ludicrous.

This creature that I've been given is also an unexpected burden and I'd much like to get rid of it somewhere. If you'd like to take good care of a floating cat-like animal, please reply with your request, though I refuse to give it to anyone unqualified.
